The first reaction to how to approach adding something to this drum sound: try some acoustic instruments. I found it was good but the original idea was to contrast, and I don't know if it did that. I thought the electric instruments sounded fine with it too. So I stopped worrying about it and just went for it. The pieces were recorded in the same order they appear on the album, then revised as I deemed necessary, in no particular order.
